You will be joining Academic Software, the team that specialises in software for schools. Academic Software acts as an intermediary for the purchase of software licences (such as Microsoft and Adobe) and offers an online software portal with more than 900 software titles for secondary and higher education.
We are currently looking for a Pricing Specialist to support our growth and strengthen our entrepreneurial, dynamic team.
What does your day as a Pricing Specialist look like?
As an employee within our licensing department, you will be responsible for the aftersales care of our software products. You will be the point of contact from presales to delivery for our customers. You will also be in close contact with our suppliers, both national and international, by phone and email.
Some of your daily activities:
Preparing, sending out and following up on quotes, contracts and billing
Follow-up of orders and suppliers
Database management and complaint handling for customers and suppliers
Informing customers, prospects and External Sales about product specifications
Processing customer orders in our ERP system (Exact) and our internal systems
Stock monitoring, management of our platform and licensing portal
In this role, you will report to the head of inside sales.

You possess strong administrative skills and have an interest in or affinity with ICT/software. You also possess a wide range of communication skills. You speak and write fluent Dutch, French and English. Knowledge of the Spanish language is an asset.
Prioritising and working accurately pose no problem for you and are part of your solution-oriented attitude. You are very customer-oriented, willing to go the extra mile for both the customer and our company.
Ideally you hold a bachelor's degree, but your motivation and commitment are more important to us than your degree! You are inspired by our growth path and our vision of digitalisation in education.
