You will be joining Academic Software, the team that specialises in software for schools. Academic Software acts as an intermediary for the purchase of software licences (such as Microsoft and Adobe) and offers an online software portal with more than 900 software titles for secondary and higher education.
We are currently looking for an Accountant to support our growth and strengthen our entrepreneurial, dynamic team.
What does your day as an Accountant look like?
As an Accountant, you will join a small but dynamic Finance team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting of the various companies within the group. This includes being responsible for digital processing of purchase invoices and financial transactions. You are also in charge of credit management, tracking outstanding suppliers and preparing payment files. Furthermore, you will be responsible for periodic VAT obligations and contribute to monthly reporting. Together with the Financial Controller, you will work on the further digitalisation and optimisation of our processes.
As the ideal candidate for the position of Accountant, you hold a bachelor's degree in accountancy/tax law and can look back on 5 years of relevant work experience.
You have a good knowledge of Dutch. Do you have knowledge of French and English? This is a nice bonus.
Experience with Exact is a plus.
You are always accurate and precise and have a passion for numbers.
Finally, you have a proactive attitude, are a real team player and dare to question things.
